Ericsson R320 GPRS

Ericsson demonstrates Mobile Internet applications over a live end-to-end GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) network, using prototype GPRS phones. Commercial GPRS phones, available during Q1 2001, will not look like the prototype on show and will incorporate a range of technologies, which together with GPRS will enable a broad spectrum of communication and information functionalities.

It lets you share your experiences with friends and family without worrying about the phone getting wet, dirty or broken. The Shark Fin™ Antenna is moulded in a flexible rubber material to prevent the antenna from being damaged if the phone is accidentally dropped.

The Ericsson R320 TITAN, a design study based on Ericsson's R320 WAP phone, is the first mobile phone made in titan. The R320 TITAN is only available in a limited edition of 50 phones.
